Celebration Fellowship is a pioneering congregation. Trusting in the leading of the Spirit, we are becoming a community of love and grace that reflects the hospitality of the Gospel, a hospitality that embraces inmates and artists, thinkers and doers, plumbers and preachers. (Those categories often overlap!)
Central to our congregational life are weekly gatherings for Bible study and worship. Worship is planned by the pastor and inside leadership teams and led mostly by inside members. The pastor and a seminary intern share preaching responsibilities. Sermons proclaim the Good News that embraces every square inch of God’s good creation, including chow halls and condominiums.
For Bible study, we develop resources in-house. These studies take into account the everyday life of our inside members. They also reflect the wisdom of Reformed theological traditions. We have published a collection of these studies in a book titled Precious Lord, Take My Hand: A Guide for the Journey Home. We plan to publish additional, smaller studies in the near future. We also have hopes of publishing an updated edition of PLTMH.
We invite you to be part of this pioneering work by becoming a financial supporter of Celebration Fellowship. Donations can be made by sending a check to: Celebration Fellowship, 1971 E. Beltline Ave. NE, Suite 214, Grand Rapids, MI 49525.
